OUR VENDORS

Our mission then, as it is now, is to bring nutrient-dense, fairly priced, fresh fruits, vegetables, and food & lifestyle products to the people of our beloved Toronto! We sell farm-fresh produce and a range of products that reflect Toronto’s diversity!

Every Wednesday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm come and meet local farmers and vendors who display their best fresh produce and products for 17 weeks from June 5  to September 25, 2024. Such as rhubarb, strawberries, and asparagus in the early summer to squash and pumpkins in the fall.

This year we have an engaging program planned for the Nathan Phillips Square Farmers’ Market. We invite you to join us on this journey!

We are accepting applications to join the Nathan Phillips Square Farmers’ Market where local farmers, specialty food processors, and artisans can flourish. In the meantime, see our participating 2024 vendors below.

Fenghua Organic Farm

Fenghua Farm adopts a combination of greenhouse planting and open field planting to ensure that there are excellent vegetables and fruits in the market all year round, so that friends have no shortage of delicious food and no regrets on the tip of the tongue of the cold and frozen Canada.
Fenghua Farm takes its responsibility to provide friends with hign-quality ingredients, advocates Eat Local, Eat Fresh! And adopts the Farm to Family (F2F) sales!

Gebeta celebrates Ethiopian culture by offering vibrant, spicy, and delicious meals. Known for its rich history and diversity, Our cuisine offers a delightful combination of spices with fresh and healthy ingredients. Our meat dishes are grilled to perfection, mixed with spices to create bold and complex flavours. Our vegan dishes are a colourful assortment of vegetables and lentils. All of our meals are served with the traditional injera, a spongy, sour and gluten-free flatbread made from gluten-free teff flour. Join us on a culinary journey through the rich flavors of Ethiopia.

Fresh fruit and vegetables can be found from this farm. Strawberries are usually the big draw but they are known to have some of the best Ontario peaches.

The Nathan Phillips Square Farmers' Market launched in 1990 under the guidance of then Mayor Barbara Hall and was managed by the Ontario Farm Fresh Market Association.

In Memoriam – Mark Wilson

We are extremely sad to announce that our beloved beekeeper Mark Wilson of ELFSONG APIARIES will not be with us in the physical sense. Mark transitioned unexpectedly on February 2023. Mark Wilson was an integral member of our Market Family and was one of the founding members of the North York Farmers Market’ and astute Board Member. While we look forward to our Opening Day, it will never, ever be the same without Mark at the helm!

May God bless and keep you and your bees safe, sound and sure dearest Mark as you lovingly lead your beloved, North York Farmers’ Market, Farm Family from your beehive in the skies! Mark we continue to feel your love and send your our prayers, blessings and love.

It is with heavy hearts we share that, Mr. Michael Xie, Fenghua Farm/Hermes Trading Ltd., transitioned unexpectedly, approximately 10 days ago after a brief illness.

Our prayers and heartfelt condolences to His beloved Wife, Megan, His Daughter, Family, Friends and Colleagues!

Mr. Xie was a silent force who generosity and genuine warmth was as resolute as His fierce dedication to His Family, Friends and vocation!
